If arriving by air from Linate or Malpensa the easiest solution is to take one of the frequent shuttle buses or trains that arrive directly to the main railway station, Milano Centrale, then a short taxi ride.  Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airports although Malpensa and Orio al Serio are located quite far from the centre.

Teatro La Scala known simply as La Scala is the world’s premier opera house. This neoclassical building built on the site of the church of Santa Maria alla Scala has played host to hundreds of celebrated stars and it is where Maria Callas became a legend.

Milan is a shoppers’ paradise and with Via Montenapoleone just 800 metres away fashion lovers will find the biggest and most famous fashion houses virtually on the doorstep.
